Data Requests and Deletion
How to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted.
Your workspace runs on AppSite-operated Google Cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored in shared databases, separated from other customers by tenant identifier and enforced server-side security rules. AppSite operates, deploys, patches, monitors and backs up the platform for you.
Who to ask
If your account belongs to an organization's workspace, that organization controls the data. Ask them first — they can export, correct and delete it directly, and they decide.
If AppSite holds your information directly — as an account holder, a billing contact, or someone who contacted us — write to privacy@appsite.ca.
What to include
The email address associated with the account, the organization or workspace if you know it, and what you want: a copy, a correction, or deletion.
We verify identity before acting, because acting on an unverified deletion request would itself be a security failure.
How long it takes
We acknowledge within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 days. If a request is complex we will tell you and give a revised timeline.
Deleting a workspace
An administrator can request deletion of the whole workspace. We confirm the request with a second administrator where one exists, export on request, then delete from active systems. Backups age out within 90 days.
What we may keep
We retain what law requires — invoices and tax records, and security and audit logs needed to demonstrate the integrity of the platform. These are kept for the legally required period and are not used for anything else.

Your platform runs inside your own Google Cloud organization, on projects and a billing account you own. Your data is never stored in AppSite's shared databases. AppSite delivers the software to repositories you control, and you perform the deployment. AppSite holds no standing access to your environment.

Deleting a workspace
Your workspace lives in your own cloud projects, so deletion is performed by you, in your own environment, on your own schedule. AppSite can advise but cannot delete data it does not hold.
Ask us to delete the account, billing and support records AppSite holds about you directly.
